Flemington is arguably the centre of Australian racing.  The home of the Melbourne Cup is also the location of Saintly Place - the site of success for Bart`s incredible 11 Melbourne Cup winners.  A first class racing and training facility that has been the mainstay of Bart Cummings` training operations for 40 years.

Our key staff at Saintly Place include:

	Reg Fleming - Stable Foreman When a young boy, Reg visited Alby Pratt's stable where his father was the Stable Foreman. When he left school he worked as a stablehand for that trainer for 5 years. Reg attributes a great deal of his knowledge about horses to this time with the famous old horseman. He then worked for Bruce McLachlan and then Tommy Hughes in Melbourne. After leaving the industry for a while to work in Queensland Reg returned to Melbourne to work for Bart Cummings. Because of his horsemanship and keen attention to detail, he has held the position as Foreman for the past two years.
	Peter Mason - Liaison Manager Peter is a well known Melbourne racing man, having had 'The Bug' from a very early age. He has raced horses with great success and attended numerous yearling sales with Bart over the twenty odd years they have been friends. An avid form student, he has been a great asset to the Melbourne stable with valuable advice on programming and with up to date information for owners with horses in the Melbourne stable.
	Joe Agresta - TrackRider Joe is our senior Track Rider and has been with the stable since 1980. Joe is a very likeable fellow and is at track work every morning, hail rain or shine!! Joe originally had a Country Jockey's Licence but increasing weight caused him to give up race riding. He has ridden some great horses over that time including Shaftesbury Avenue, Kingston Rule, Let's Elope, Saintly, Dane Ripper and Rogan Josh
