Vies for position as Bart's favourite mare. Light Fingers was one of the favourites for the 1965 Melbourne Cup after having won the 1964 VRC Oaks the previous year. She had one of the lightest racing programs of any of Bart's horses into the Cup as she was injured in one of her lead-up races. Showed great heart to overcome her stablemate, Ziema to win the 1965 Melbourne Cup which was Bart's first success in the race.
